Tony performs predominantly his own material which can be amusing, ironic, angry, mysterious but always interesting and deeply human. He plays guitar and octave mandola mainly but also, especially when with his band, 5 string banjo and mandolin.
The Tony Burt Band features bassist John Davis and the great fiddle player, Allyson Craigan, who add power and texture to Tony’s material as well as performing an exciting range of traditional tunes.
